There is a
small charge to enter the orchard (so you feel less guilty about what
you munch while you're picking - we know!) and a 'per kilo' price
depending on the quality of fruit available. This is normal practice on
pick-your-own farms - but wait it gets better.
For
every 5kg of fruit picked one of the adult entry fees is refunded. Once
they see the fruit most people pick at least that amount so very few of
our customers end up paying the entry fee.
It's
really just to keep timewasters and freeloaders away but it means that
if you want to come mainly for the experience we are also happy with
that.

To avoid confusion which occasionally arises, please note that the idea is that you pick only what you want to
pay for and take home. We never have people pick for us.

Cherries - $6/kg for the remainder of the season.
Normally slightly more the last weekend before Christmas in order to spread the demand but we probably won't get that far again this year.
Sour cherries (Morello - for jam etc) $4.00 per kg (these are usually available later in the season).
